How to Clean a Washer Inlet Screen

  1. Unplug the washer and shut off hot and cold water valves.
  2. Place towels under hose connections.
  3. Disconnect inlet hoses from the back of the washer.
  4. Remove and rinse mesh screens with water and a soft brush.
  5. Reconnect hoses, turn water on, and check for leaks before restoring power.
