Frigidaire refrigerator error codes by model
- SY EFEvaporator fan circuit fault (shown as SY EF or 5Y EF) — the freezer fan is iced or failed.
- SY CFCondenser fan circuit fault (shown as SY CF) — coils may be dirty or the fan motor failed.
- OPDoor open alarm — a door is ajar or the door switch is not reading closed.
- SHShowroom / demo mode is on — cooling is disabled until you exit showroom mode.
- CECommunication error between refrigerator control boards.
- SY CECommunication error between the display and the main board after the refrigerator has been running.
- 77Demo or showroom mode (display shows 77 77). The lights work and cooling is off until you unplug the refrigerator.
- SbSabbath mode is on. Lights, alarms, and some controls stay quiet until you exit Sabbath mode.
